Submit Your Event to B.fest 2024

B.fest 2024 runs from Saturday 26th October – Saturday 2nd November, in the half term week

This is your first step to being a part of B.fest 2024!

If you are a young person aged 13-25, you can get involved in B.fest 2024 in lots of different ways. Go to the How To Get Involved page and have a look!

If you are an organisation or project that works with young people ages 13-25, you can:

  • Support your young people to be part of a B.fest event or performance:

 Venue B – A show, gig space, performance slot, acoustic set or stand-up piece or performance art!    Professional stage/venue with stage lights and P.A (technicians provided). COMPLETE THIS SUBMISSION FORM

  • Submit young peoples’ visual or digital art work to Cultureground – the dedicated visual arts gallery  that runs during the festival:

Cultureground – an professional exhibition space for visual arts and  sculpture that will run Saturday 26th October to Saturday 2nd November 2024 (tbc) BOOK YOUR EXHIBITION SPACE

  • Support your young people to sell their art and design work at BAM, the B.fest art market.

B.fest Art Market BAM – Book a stall to sell your artwork. Date to be confirmed for the B.fest week. Express your interest here: BOOK A STALL.  Stalls cost £10 for an individual or £25 for an organisation, payable on the day by cash or card (if the cost is a barrier, please message Hannah at Brightonyouthart@gmail.com)

  • Run a workshop or event as part of B.fest 2024 during the festival week.
  • Collaborate with the B.fest team on an event, performance or workshop.
  • Promote a performance, event or workshop for young people that is happening in the city or surrounding area as part of the B.fest 2024 programme. (We do advertise events or activities just outside of the B.fest week, 26th October – 2nd November, but they should be around this time.)

Please read the essential information below and fill in all parts of the submission form at the bottom of this page.  This helps us give your event/show/workshop the best possible representation in the B.fest publicity & supports the efficient planning and programming of the festival.

  • Please remember that the event title and description should appeal to people between 13-25 (and the wider public) – this is your chance to generate interest and enthusiasm and help ensure that you have a good audience/attendance at your event/show/workshop.
  • If you need to change any of this information, after submitting your form, please let us know. There is no guarantee that changes can be made after the submission deadline, but we will always do our best to accommodate you.
  • Bfest Launch is on Saturday 26th October. The launch will give you the opportunity to promote your events to hundreds of young people before the B.fest week. We recommend that organisations attend the launch.
  • If you need a location to run your event, let us know, we have a few options and good contacts with other venues.
