B.Game Tournament
Saturday 25th October / 2-7pm / Free with launch ticket / Drop-in
Come and meet the B.Gamers, our group of young people who meet weekly to talk and play games. Come and battle it out in a video-game tournament, or just spectate and cheer for your friends! Projected onto the wall, it’ll be a fantastic spectator sport. Games will be running all afternoon, so drop-in and out whenever you want.
Future Visions
Saturday 25th October / 2-9pm / Free with launch ticket / Drop-in
With David Allistone from Exploring Senses, young people have mixed real dreams and wild fantasies to show how the space can live and breathe youth culture, shaped by the ideas of the next generation. Using digital collage, Procreate and more, they’ve built animations that light up the building — an immersive takeover of youth-led visions, raw, playful and unapologetically future-facing.
Beginner’s DnD Session
Tuesday 28th October / 3-5pm / Free / Sign-up
A beginner tabletop role-playing game (TTRPG) workshop for people looking to play Dungeons & Dragons, plus information of where people go to find group and resources for play. You’ll play a one off session, in which your goal is rescue some helpless townsfolk from a band of evil goblins while learning how to play D&D.
Anti-Racism Youth Assembly
Thursday 30th October / 3-7pm (with breaks) / Free / Sign-up
Presented by ThirdSpace Theatre in collaboration with BYC, don’t miss this chance to shape anti-racist policy in your community. Lead by those with years of experience in anti-racism, come together to develop an anti-racism policy to be used by ThirdSpace Theatre and arts organisations around the city. Have your say in the way you want to see your services run, and make sure that your voice is heard.
Please be aware that this isn’t a space for those who have experienced racism seeking support or advice, but a constructive space to develop tangible, valuable ways of moving forward. By the nature of the subject matter, it will be dealing with subjects that some will find distressing, so make sure you look after yourself!
