Venue B & BYC Launch Gig<\/strong><\/h1>\n

Saturday 25th October \/ 2-9pm \/ Free with launch ticket \/ Drop-in<\/strong><\/p>\n

From the ribbon-cutting to close, we\u2019ll be debuting our incredible new space for gigs and performance with a line-up showcasing the best of the young scene.<\/p>\n

From the ribbon-cutting at 2 until 3,\u00a0New Generation Jazz\u00a0<\/strong>will be laying down a groove of jazz fusion.<\/p>\n

From 4-5pm, we\u2019ll have acoustic and solo sets. Stick around for chilled vibes and some of the best of Brighton\u2019s young singer-songwriters.\u00a0Mollie Angela\u00a0<\/strong>at 3.10-3.40,\u00a0Alice Chamberlain\u00a0<\/strong>at 3.50-4.20, and\u00a0Im Eied\u00a0<\/strong>at 4.30-5pm!<\/p>\n

At 5pm, local band Spider take the stage, followed by the Shoreham All-Stars.<\/p>\n

At 7pm, a brief break from the music for a film screening! See the premier of the BYC Tour where young bands were taken on the road to other YIF funded projects to perform at gigs nationwide, and connect and share music in these inspiring spaces.<\/p>\n

After the screening, it\u2019s time to have a dance as alt-rock bands take the stage. Featured in the film, Blue Bottles<\/strong> and Livid<\/strong> will close our night.<\/p>\n

For those with a bit more experience DJing, this workshop will be the perfect place to hone your skills, develop your sound, and get yourself confident performing.
